about

Random Killing -This Whole World (1989 Punk Rock ,contains explicit lyrics.)

"This Whole World" release with the bands second vocalist V. Dumpster handling the singing chores. Lots of intentional humour ("Kill Your Parents" & "Subway Suicide") is shown and this is much more aggressive than the traditional punk sounding Take Our Flag when Rodney Wastelands handled the vocal chores. Dumpster at times sounds similar to current vocalist Drool, but isn't quite as good.

"very cool" "All are approached with a twist of sarcasm
and humour.Good record" MAXIMUMROCK'N'ROLL issue #77

"Here's a band I"ve liked for a while"
"they lean back to '80—8l' British punk-core when bands
still used to write melodies" REARGARDE Issue#36

****The song "Kill Your Parents" is about the Young Offenders Act of Cananda
The Young Offenders Act (YOA) was an act of the Parliament of Canada, granted Royal Assent in 1984, that regulated the criminal prosecution of Canadian youths.[1] The act was repealed in 2003 with the passing of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The act established the national age of criminal responsibility at 12 years old, and said that youths can only be prosecuted if they break a law of the Criminal Code (previously, youths could be prosecuted or punished solely on the grounds that it was in the youth's "best interests").

Random Killing is a Canadian punk rock band from Toronto, who were assembled in 1984. Their original name was Roy's Comrades, which was a nod to the hated Roy McMurtry, Attorney General of Ontario at the time. After writing a few decent songs, the band decided to record and stay together. In 2013 they were listed in the top 10 Punk bands of all time from Toronto. ... more
